Action Plan: Keep meal planning simple

 

  Create a meal plan for 1 day:

  1. Include vegetables or fruit with each meal and snack to fill half of your plate, bowl, or cup.
  2. Include at least 3 food groups in meals; 1 veggie or fruit plus 2 other food groups.
  3. Include at least 2 food groups in snacks; 1 veggie or fruit plus 1 other food group.
