How much iron do babies and children need?

Babies (0-6 months) = 0.27 mg Iron/day
Babies (6-12 months) = 11 mg Iron/day
Children (1-3 years) = 7 mg Iron/day
Children (4-13 years) = 8-10 mg Iron/day
Teenagers (14-18 years) = 11 mg Iron/day
Menstruating Teenagers (14-18 years) = 15 mg Iron/day

How much iron do pregnant and lactating people need?

Pregnant = 27 mg Iron/day
Lactating = 10 mg Iron/day

How much iron do women need?

19-50 years = 18 mg Iron/day
51 years and older = 8 mg Iron/day
