Cook beans, peas, and lentils to offer at most meals.
Substitute tofu in place of meat.
Add nuts or seeds to baked goods, hot cereal, or salads.
Snack on veggies and hummus, fruit with dairy or soy yogurt, or veggies and nut butter.
Add eggs or dairy to meals or snacks.

Nuts and seeds are a choking hazard and should not be given to children under 4. Finely minced is okay to give.
