Help your child learn and grow by talking, reading, singing, and playing together every day! There are many ways to do this. Below are some tips and activities you can try!

Let your child help you in the kitchen.
Teach your child the names of foods. Talk about shapes, colors and tastes! Your child can also help with tasks like washing veggies and fruits, stirring or taste-testing.

Encourage your child to play with other children.
This helps them learn the value of friendship and how to get along with others.

Give your child an “activity box” with paper, crayons, and coloring books.

Let your child play with playdough.

Ask your child to find objects in books or around the house that are the same.

Go to the park or to a hiking trail. Allow your child to play freely and without structured activities. Follow their lead.

Read with your child every day.
