Action Plan: Improve packaged foods

 

Choose two of your family’s favorite packaged prepared foods. On a piece of paper or your phone, write down how you will use the tips you learned today to make the meals more nutritious. 

As you make your plan, be sure to use foods that are: 

  • full of nutrients
  • limited in added sugars, saturated fat, and sodium
  • from a variety of food groups; always include a veggie or fruit
