Smoothies are easy, healthy, and can be made to your liking. They are a great way to get your kids in the kitchen. Ask them to choose their ingredients. They can even help wash veggies and fruits! Once ingredients are cut up, let them put the pieces in the blender.

Use this simple formula to make delicious, nutritious smoothies today!

Caution: Never serve honey to children under the age of one.

DIRECTIONS for one smoothie:

  1. Add ingredients from each column in a blender. 
  2. Blend until thick and smooth.

Tips

  • Use milk, tofu, or yogurt for creamier smoothies.

  • If using frozen fruit, use less or no ice.

  • Freeze slices of veggies and fruit that are very ripe. Use them in smoothies.
