On a piece of paper, write out a plan for making 1 to 3 smoothies. As you plan each smoothie, keep these tips in mind:
- Use seasonal veggies and fruits
- Freeze veggies and fruit that need to be eaten soon
- Make a double batch and have one later in the week
- Freeze smoothies for an on-the-go meal or snack
Use the guide below to combine tasty ingredients into delicious smoothies. Choose ingredients that are:
- full of nutrients
- limited in added sugars
- from at least 2 food groups
