Action Plan: Simple steps to more physical activity

 

Being physically active is one way to feel your best.
Make a plan to add physical activity to your day. Schedule it into your calendar like any other appointment! Which of these sound like something that might work for you?

In the morning, afternoon, or evening, I will spend 10 minutes doing:

  • Body weight exercises (lunges, squats, planks)

  • Brisk walking

  • Yoga 

  • Stretching

  • Energetically cleaning

I will get my family involved by:

  • Going for a family walk

  • Playing a game of tag

  • Taking a bike ride
